BADmedia was created in the spring of 2002 under a different identity. At that time, the parent company of Brian Andrew Dodson, LLC operated as two separate entities - Aquarius Records, which was the audio recording side of the business, and BADesign, the web & graphic design portion. At some point between then and now, it made sense to owner Andrew Dodson to join the two into one, simple entity.
Dodson got his start designing websites, logos, fliers, recording bands, artists and concerts while attending Georgetown College. He is entirely self-taught with a bit of mentoring from a few select people along the way. Upon graduation, he decided to start his own business as a side job. His client list has steadily grown over the last six years, mainly through word-of-mouth. In the mean time, he has worked as a full-time graphic artist for CLS Screen Printing & Embroidery.
As of 2008, Dodson has decided to push the business further with hopes of growth to a full-time operation. With the push comes his first attempt to advertise his business - mainly through this website, Links2Frankfort and other freelance sites on the web.
